1.SITE NEWS AND OTHER BYTES

26th September 1998
www.NicoledeBoer.com is up and running. For those of you who aren't
aware of it, domain names are not case sensitive. First issue of the
ezine went out today with this information on it. :) You can still use
your bookmarked page, it just means that anyone who types that in will
be forwarded to the original site within half a second.

24th September 1998
Sent a letter off to Nicole requesting that she check out the site and
if she likes it, would she make it the official one. I know she's busy
and the average time for a reply from Paramount stars is 6 months so
I'm waiting patiently! (I also said that if she doesn't like the site
I can either change it or pull it down, whichever she prefers. I'll
let you know the moment I find out!)

22nd September 1998
Sofcom Star Trek directory added our Nicole page to their database, so
I've listed them on the main page. I also mentioned our site to a few
other star trek pages. Haven't heard from them yet.

20th September 1998
Got a reply from Floyd of the Original Nikki deBoer fan club. He's
contacted Nicole with a pile of questions for their next feature. Also
he's intent on making the site a repository of reviews and synopsis of
all the episodes,  programmes and movies that she has featured in.
I'll mention it on the main page soon as it happens.

18th September 1998
Contacted Namesecure - a domain forwarding service in association with
Xoom. Ordered www.nicoledeboer.com You'll see it on the site soon. I
figured someone is going to type it in! nikkideboer.com is still
available as far as I know!

16th September 1998
Was advised that there is a Nikki deBoer fan club. Apparently it's
been an email club for sometime but recently went 'internet' with a
web page. Similar in style to the one I've set up with the mailing
list. I contacted them advising them of the site and the webring. Put
the link on the main page. Also started a new job as a scanner
consultant working nights. Lets hope I can keep updating the site!

14th September 1998
Added the webring. With Nicole debuting next week to a large base of
Star Trek fans I figured there'd be fan sites within minutes. What
better way for Nicole fans to find those sites. If you're intent on
creating one, please join the webring!

12th September 1998
Spoke to Vidiot who advised me that this site is not viewable on the
screen he uses and that 'No one uses 640 x 480 screens anymore'. As
I'm in Australia and everyone I know, including those that sell
computers, use 640x480 I had no way of knowing what his screen looked
like. In any case I redesigned the main page to feature 12 pt. Hope
it's readable to those of you who use those screens.

2. The latest sites to list the Nicole deBoer Unofficial Site include

to the site undergoing some construction)

4. Latest news is that episodes of Dooley Gardens will begin screening
in January in Canada. Nicole has a medium role in it. Not sure of much
else regarding this series though it is suggested it has a quirky
nature similar to Twin Peaks.

Latest rumour is that the DeepWater Black telemovie may have been
scrapped.For more information about DeepWater Black the best site to
go to, in my opinion, is Karen's DeepWater Black/Mission Genesis site
at http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Chamber/4684/index.html

Karen redesigned the image and wrote the coordinates for the new
improved webring. I should have that updated within a week or so. If
